I was wondering if anyone wanted to spend a weekend jumping at Weston? I was thinking it might be good to experience jumping at a different drop zone, see how things differ. Plus I hear they fly Dornier's which are meant to be much nicer for RAPS students. I haven't really thought that much about this so if anyone has any thoughts or is interested let me know. It's about half an hour from where I live so I was thinking go to mine Friday, have a couple of pints at my local and then drive there the Saturday morning, coming all the way back to Southampton (of wherever you may be) the Sunday evening after jumping has finsihed. What do you think? Let me know!

I'd be up for it, I've jumped there a few times and i like it (plus got two tickets left over from last year!). Dornier is v nice for all skydivers, good for RAPS, good for 4-way and everything, and they have a lot of world class coaches there.
let me know the date, hopefully i can make it, i have a few weekends away (non-skydiving) this summer for holidays).

May I suggest the weekend of the 18th 19th July? Seeing as netheravon is closed, + Weston have a skyvan that weekend too.
And yes, the Dornier is ace for RAPS!

Definitely possible but a) I'm busy that weekend and b) Chris has asked to do it next month... obviously we can do this seperately, we don't have to all go as one group but I won't be going that weekend, sorry, otherwise that would have been awesome given that Nethers is shut that w/e Matt

I'm up for that weekend :) I can't make any more weekends after that until 22/23rd August as I am away on non-jumping hols! Up for it if you go in august, as long as it's not the bank holiday weekend as that is the UKS boogie! (is anyone going to UKS boogie? if so, i might make a thread for it)
