Night Skydiving !!!

I've been waiting for this since static line !!! This is going to be as cool as a first free fall !!!

Who is coming? Here is the paste from the netheravon website:

On Friday 19th September, the APA will be running a night jump program. It is open to all APA members with B Licence and above. The brief (mandatory) will be held at 7pm in Classroom 1. If it is your first night jump, you will do a solo exit from 3,500ft.For your second jump, you can jump from max altitude, in formation (if you wish). It is normal that there is scope to complete two jumps in an evening, but obviously no guarantee. As usual, weather conditions dictate what we can accomplish during the evening. The cost is £30 per jump for civilian members and £20 for military. Cylume (glowing night sticks) will be provided. There is no need to register, please just arrive on Friday if you wish to jump. APA membership is mandatory.

Anyone fancy going to Langar boogie 2? We could go there for most of it then head down to nethers on the friday for night jumping . I'm pretty sure this is a great plan.

I'm of course doing the night jump, not sure about the Langar Boogie, my funds are starting to run lower having spent roughly £5000 on skydiving in the last 3 months!

Nope unfortunately not, £3000 on kit and the rest on jump tickets and kit hire and getting there, and all of course so that I can bring glory to the University of Southampton

Remeber that you will need a alti with backlight. Don't know if you are allowed to tie more glow sticks. lol, probably not.

Although I don't mind lending mine if I'm not in the lift (or anyone closer)
